ON THE DIRECTORS: ROSSANA FOGLIA & RUBENS REWALD

Rossana and Rubens were both born in São Paulo and met while in film school, the prestigious ECA/USP (Escola de Comunicação e Artes da Universidade de São Paulo), where they graduated at the height of the Color administration and the end of Embrafilme, i.e., the darkest time in Brazilian filmmaking history.

For these reasons, the two decided to focus on screenwriting and theater, and eventually wrote, produced and directed their first short film, the award winner Mutante... (2002).

Since then, they have reaffirmed their passion for cinema, with a tendency for the experimental narrative and urban characters, thus CORPO.
